- I am co-author, co-director and co-designer
The project is supported by:
I developed the project together with the three other authors at the cross-continental development course "SEA Masterclass" The other authors were Aguri Miyazaki, David Tousek and Paolo Conti. I was part of defining the characters and the world on writing and I designed the characters together with the Japanese Art Director, Aguri Miyazaki.
When the project was picked up by the polish studio "Grupa Smacznego", me and the art director developed the show further with the polish artists. When the project was later selected for Cartoon Forum I directed the creation of the pitch and the teaser together with the polish producer. You can see the teaser below:
Below is artwork from the project. It's a combination of my drawings, the art director's work and the polish artists we directed. To just see my drawings, you can take a look in my portfolio section.
Below is a presentation of an episode we presented at Cartoon Forum in 2015. I directed the writing on the episode and the art of the presentation. The episode starts early morning, as Miau wakes up alone; her Grandma has dragged poor Bubblebit to a dog show (everyone but Miau thinks the alien is a weird dog!). Miau is mostly concerned with a pair of her favorite socks that are missing, while Bubblebit makes attempts at escaping the dog show - only angering the other competitive grandmas. Miau continually investigates the case of the missing socks - finally realizing that all tracks lead to the dog show. Meanwhile, Bubblebit finally gives in to Grandma and performs - because it makes her happy. Watch below for the ending.
